Hon. Lydia Ohenewa, Suhum MCE, says some bloggers in the assembly post issues with no evidence and no follow-up, which makes them look like jokers.
Suhum MCE, Hon Lydia Ohenewa, tells bloggers she’s happy when media and others promote Suhum or the assembly.
She added that bloggers provide info, helping the assembly act on incidents. She urged bloggers to ensure messages have enough evidence, as their posts spread fast and she struggles to clarify unverified info.

She added that if Suhum bloggers aim to promote Suhum, they should identify with the town, as the association is meant to boost development. She said working with her is easy, and she solves solvable problems.
She stressed bloggers should check if issues they post about are resolved, otherwise they’re not doing their job properly.
She said she’s prioritizing Suhum now, but will get into politics when the time comes.
A blogger wrongly linked Suhum to a random news story because of politics, she cautioned against letting politics cloud judgment. Some bloggers aim to damage Suhum’s reputation. Credibility is earned, and some bloggers aren’t respected.
A blogger feels happy when their story leads to problem resolution, she advised.
