If you poke the eyes of the cadaver, you shall find maggots. The supposed deviants in a community, would be remembered at least for something good they did while alive.

I am a father to the creative industry so, i bear no musician any grudge. I try to always mend fences in the industry to bring harmony and peace since i have interacted, worked and have an impact on their lives and Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale, is no exception.

The personality Shatta Wale, might have provoked one or two conversations for public attention and therefore, has been chastised or had had altercation with some people based on their perceptions about him. No qualms here however, i will not inherit their dislike for him. The palm 🌴 fronds, doesn’t shred itself(biribi anko ka papa a…). We see people differently. I don’t condone and support violence, bad behaviors and disrespectful attitudes. Far from that.

My perception about Shatta Wale, changed about 8 years ago when i was part of Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom’s GN BANK awards scheme when he won the Overall Artiste and was offered a car. The love for him, further deepened and escalated when he was interviewed by Kafui Dey last year on GTV. He spoke wisdom! Kudos Samuel Atuobi Baah for this complete transformation.

One message he sent across was that, we should stop the media war (beef) and make money 💰 together. Very potent, concise and precise message which i endorse with my 40 years experience in the creative industry. Asem tumi to obiara!

Concerning his invitation and incarceration by EOCO and the bail granted him, i wish that, he cooperates with them on their investigations. There is no case that is beyond any human comprehension. The ultimate is death. Asem ba a, nipa na 3b3 ka!

Thanks to the numerous SM Fans who showed solidarity, love and care and didn’t take the law into their hands today and those that helped with his bail conditions.

Go Shatta and shatter all the whales 🐋 in Wales on your music journey. A lot of the Street guys, depend on you however, be measured when you are provoked. Stream his music whether you are a fan or not.
