Stakeholders Unite in Suhum to Fight Human Trafficking

Stakeholders Unite in Suhum to Fight Human Trafficking.
Stakeholders Engagement Forum.
On Saturday, 30th May 2026, Engage Now Africa, in partnership with Ensign Global University, successfully convened 85 participants for a Stakeholders Engagement Forum under the theme: “Sensitization on the Reality of Human Trafficking and the Role of Community Leaders.”

The program was held at the Engage Now Africa House of Hope Conference Room.
The forum provided a platform to strengthen collaboration among stakeholders in the fight against human trafficking and other forms of exploitation. Participants were equipped with knowledge to identify red flags and respond effectively within their communities.

We are also deeply grateful to our Guest Speaker, Hon. Lydia Ohenewaa Sarah, the Municipal Chief Executive of Suhum, for her meaningful contribution and continued commitment to the fight against human trafficking and other forms of exploitation.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all stakeholders and dignitaries who participated, including the Imam; representatives of the Christian Council and Muslim Council; the Ghana Police Service (DOVVSU); Ghana Immigration Service; Local Government representatives; traditional leaders and chiefs; pastors; CHRAJ; NCCE; the Presiding Member; professionals from the CID Anti-Human Trafficking Unit; lawyers; the State Attorney; BNI; the Department of Social Welfare; Immigration Officers; and the Head of the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit.
We sincerely appreciate Ensign Global University for partnering with Engage Now Africa for Organizing this sensitization program.
Together, we remain committed to building safer communities and combating human trafficking and all forms of exploitation.
